In Memory: Paul R. Marchand

In Memory: Paul R. Marchand

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Robert Marchand Jr. on April 21, 2026. He was a devoted family man, a respected lawyer, and an extraordinary philanthropist whose impact will be felt for generations.

Born in Montreal on May 22, 1941, Paul truly embodied our Non Nobis motto, believing that we do not live for ourselves alone, but in service of others. With a deep commitment to community engagement and leadership, he had a meaningful relationship with Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School for over 40 years. He was first an ECS parent, a grandparent, a Board member, Chair of the Strategic Steering Committee in the 1990s, and was still an active company and community member until recently. He recognized the importance of girls’ education and how empowering future generations of women would strengthen communities and professional environments.

To give in Paul’s memory is to honour his life defined by generosity, wisdom, and kindness.

Thank you for honouring his legacy. He will be deeply missed.
