Meet Ms. Alison Wearing
I am thrilled and energized to begin my role as Head of School at ECS.
In our rapidly evolving world, authentic connection is more meaningful than ever. It is also at the heart of our mission: to truly know each girl, to engage her fully, and to steward her journey as she becomes the person she aspires to be.
Being part of this shared purpose is an extraordinary privilege.
As we enter our 117th year, we remain grounded in the founding vision of Maud Edgar and Mary Cramp: to offer an education with strong foundations and limitless possibilities. ECS prepares girls to become bold dreamers, thoughtful leaders, and connected global citizens who impact the world around them.
Alongside our talented faculty and staff, I look forward to building upon this empowering legacy of nurturing the whole girl.
I have already felt the warmth and spirit of this small but mighty community. The unique "ECS magic" you often hear about is palpable the moment you walk through our doors.
I am excited to welcome others to discover it, experience it, and be part of all that lies ahead.

Land Acknowledgment
The ECS community acknowledges that the land on which we learn is the ancestral territory of the Kanien'kehá (Mohawk) Nation. We honor the continued presence of Indigenous peoples on this land and remain wholeheartedly committed to working towards reconciliation.
ECS is a private school for girls that offers educational services in English from kindergarten to secondary 5, leading to the secondary school diploma (MEQ).
