Junior School Extended Day Programme
 
The ECS Extended Day Programme (EDP) provides professional quality care. Open to students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, our programme is designed to meet the needs of parents requiring extended day care for their children.

Morning Drop-Off (Free)
Morning supervision from 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Junior School children who arrive at school between 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. will receive supervised time in the library for a variety of age-appropriate activities prior to starting their school day.

After-School Activities (fees and registration required)
Available weekdays from 3:20 p.m. - 4:20 p.m.

All Junior School children have the opportunity to participate in our After-School Activities (ASA) run by specialists in their fields. Activities vary (by grade level) and reflect the interests of the student body:
  • Coding 
  • Chess
  • Theatre
  • Yoga
  • And much more!
We also offer our After-School Sports Programme, which runs two days per week for Grade 5 and 6 girls.

Daily supervision from 3:05 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

  • Supervised free time with friends
  • Kindergarten reading period

Pedagogical Days (fees and registration required)
Full day supervision from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

During the school year, the EDP team runs several full-day PED Day activities. These days are designed to be fun! Parents are sent detailed information in advance, and registration is required. PED Day Activities are open to all students from Kindergarten through Grade 6, even if they are not registered for regular EDP services.

Transportation Services
We are pleased to offer several dedicated school bus services directly to and from ECS!


West Island

We offer 1 trip in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon: directly after school or following after school activities!

Bus 2 - Stops include:

Nuns’ Island

We offer 1 trip in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon: directly after school or following after school activities! Our dedicated Nuns' Island bus runs directly to and from your front door.

Laval-TMR

We offer 1 trip in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon: directly after school or following after school activities! Stops include:
  • Pharmaprix (Boul Notre-Dame/de la Lavatère)
  • Carrefour Laval (Multiluminaire)
  • Brittany/Laird
  • Graham/Dunkirk
  • Laird/Ste-Claire

South Shore

We offer 1 trip in the morning, and 1 in the afternoon. Stops Include:
  • Candiac- Parc Montcalm
  • Mondou: 9205 Taschereau
  • Boston Pizza: 7733 Taschereau
