What is Above & Beyond?
This is more than a fundraising campaign; it’s an investment into the future of ECS and generations of girls who will go on to lead, inspire, and make a difference. With a goal of $6.5 million, Above & Beyond will elevate ECS in powerful ways, supporting key initiatives that will ensure we can continue delivering unparalleled academic and growth opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff. We are proudly reinforcing ECS as the school of choice for families seeking an exceptional education.

Why Now?
Privatization is a strategic move that will give ECS the independence to open our doors to any student who embodies our mission, free from external enrollment constraints (such as English eligibility). Additionally, expanding to include Grade 12 will allow our students to graduate on their own terms, better preparing them for post-secondary success. Overall, privatization will reaffirm our position as the girls’ school of choice.

Why Now?
Alongside the Above & Beyond campaign, our regular Annual Giving fundraising initiative, which has a yearly goal of $500,000, will continue over the next three years. Under Annual Giving, the New and Ongoing Wishes (NOW Fund) and our Scholarships & Bursaries Fund support the most immediate and greatest needs within our school community.

Land Acknowledgment
The ECS community acknowledges that the land on which we learn is the ancestral territory of the Kanien'kehá (Mohawk) Nation. We honor the continued presence of Indigenous peoples on this land and remain wholeheartedly committed to working towards reconciliation.
ECS is a private school for girls that offers educational services in English from kindergarten to secondary 5, leading to the secondary school diploma (MEQ).
