E
very girl benefits from learning how she learns, not just what to learn. This awareness transforms students into confident, capable lifelong learners who approach challenges with strategy and self-assurance. It’s the true meaning—and the future—of individualized learning.

That’s where our Learning to Learn (L2L) department comes into play!

L2L supports all students, whether or not they have a diagnosed learning profile. From the earliest grades, girls are encouraged to think about their thinking. Through guided reflection and active learning, they begin to recognize their strengths, adjust their strategies, and take ownership of their progress. By integrating this approach into every classroom, students are equipped with tools that sharpen cognitive and metacognitive skills.

The focus extends beyond mastering content; it’s about cultivating self-awareness, adaptability, and autonomy

"These are not generic lessons; they are research- and evidence-based, developmentally aligned, and designed specifically for the way our girls learn best."

As students grow, so do their strategies! Younger learners focus on foundational skills such as organization, sequencing, and time management, while Middle and Senior students build on those foundations through workshops and programming that strengthen study habits, executive functioning, backward planning, exam preparation, and beyond.

What makes this approach powerful is the growth mindset it fosters. Girls begin to see success not as predetermined, but as something they can shape through effort, persistence, and the strategies they choose. They gain confidence as they realize they can influence their outcomes and advocate for what they need to thrive.

By empowering every student with the tools to become agile, self-directed learners, L2L ensures that our girls are not just prepared for the next test, but for a lifetime of curiosity, resilience, and success!
