In Partnership With Northern Pre-University (NPU)

Whether reviewing key concepts or studying new material, you can advance through each course on your own timeline, with guidance from dedicated teachers and weekly drop-in office hours. From Environmental and Technology Science to Math Prep Class, every course is designed to help you build confidence and prepare for a strong start in the upcoming academic year.

Please note: The Online Summer School curriculum is based on the Quebec education system.
 

Course Offering

  • Grades 6 & 7 Math Prep Class

    The Grades 6 & 7 Math Prep Class is designed to help students strengthen foundational skills in preparation for Secondary I Math or to review key concepts before entering Secondary II. The course covers essential topics such as converting units, multiplication, rounding and working with decimals, reducing fractions, multiplying and dividing fractions, and converting between decimals, fractions, and percentages.
  • Secondary III Math

    This course focuses on foundational algebra, geometry, and problem-solving skills. Students delve into algebraic expressions, equations, inequalities, and systems of equations. They also explore the concepts of functions and their inverses. Additionally, they develop a strong understanding of geometric figures and their properties.
  • Secondary III Math Preview

    This option is for Secondary II students who wish to prepare for next year's course in advance, studying the same concepts listed above. No final mark will be reported. 
  • Secondary IV EST (Environmental and Technology) Science

    This course builds upon the foundational knowledge from the previous year's Science and Technology (ST) course, focusing on environmental issues and their solutions. Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on investigations, incorporating concepts from the living, material, and technological worlds, as well as earth and space. It's a prerequisite for those aiming to take Chemistry and Physics in Secondary V.

    This is a bridge course.
  • Secondary IV SN (Science Option) Math

    This course is designed to challenge students with a strong foundation in algebra and geometry, preparing them for future studies in science or related fields. It emphasizes rigorous mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills, including the study of triangles, trigonometry, and proof-based mathematics.
  • Secondary IV CST (Cultural, Social, and Technical) Math

    This course focuses on applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations. It emphasizes developing problem-solving skills, reasoning abilities, and the capacity to analyze different possibilities and make informed decisions. The curriculum covers topics like functions (linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic), trigonometry, and algebraic manipulations, preparing students for further studies in computer science or other fields that rely on mathematical foundations.
  • Secondary IV: History of Quebec and Canada

    This course explores key historical periods and social phenomena, with a focus on the formation and evolution of Canada and Quebec. Students develop competencies in analyzing historical periods and interpreting social issues through the study of various documents and sources. Covering the period from 1840 to the present, the course emphasizes the development of the Canadian federal system, nationalisms and autonomy, Quebec’s modernization, and societal choices in contemporary Quebec.
  • Secondary V SO (Science Option) Math

    This course covers advanced mathematical concepts like functions, trigonometry, and vectors, with a focus on their applications in science and engineering. It is designed to prepare students for university programs in these fields.

Registration Form

 
Summer sessions will run from June 29 to July 30th, 2026. Courses are led online by a teacher who offers weekly support sessions via Google Meet. They help prepare students for the final exam by grading evaluations and providing feedback.

  • History of Quebec & Canada: Friday July 31st 2026  9:00-12:00
  • Secondary IV CST & SN Math & SV SN Math: Monday August 3rd, 2026 9:00-12:00
  • Secondary IV Science: Tuesday August 4th, 2026 9:00-12:00
