We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position:
Study Hall Monitor
Start date: September 2022
Part-time: 15hrs/week
Monday to Friday - 3pm to 6pm

Reporting to the EDP Coordinator the Study Hall Monitor will be in charge of supervising the students, maintaining a quiet and safe environment, and continuously updating the daily attendance. They will meet/communicate with the EDP Coordinator to go over any updates and student-related academic or well-being concerns that need to be addressed. The Daily Hours for Study Hall are from 3pm – 6pm, Monday to Friday Study which offers a welcoming environment for the students to do their homework after school.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Create a safe and well supervised environment for the programme participants
Must always be reliable, responsible and punctual
Ensure every student leaves the programme each day feeling welcomed, happy and safe
Take attendance as the students check-in and update it periodically
Keep active communication with EDP Coordinator regarding any concerns or issues that may arise during the programming time
Ensure the room is always left clean at the end of the day
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma
Must have at least 2 years of experience in related field (i.e. Education, Child Studies, volunteer work, summer camp experience, etc.)
Certified in First Aid and CPR is an asset
Proficient in both English and French
