Qualifications et expérience
Expérience de travail auprès d'enfants d'âge scolaire dans un contexte de supervision
Solides compétences en organisation et en gestion du temps
Excellentes aptitudes à la communication (chaleureuse, claire et professionnelle avec les familles et les collègues)
Capacité à effectuer plusieurs tâches simultanément et à rester calme dans un environnement dynamique centré sur les élèves
Expérience en coordination de programmes ou en administration scolaire, un atout
Certification en premiers soins et en RCR (ou volonté de l'obtenir)
Maîtrise du français à l'oral et à l'écrit ; l'anglais est un atout
Horaire et disponibilités
La coordonnateur.trice du EDP travaille du lundi au vendredi pendant l'année scolaire. Voici les principales informations relatives à l'horaire :
Horaire complet de la journée prolongée, du début de la journée scolaire jusqu'à la fin du programme
Soutien en fin de journée requis au besoin
Disponibilité lors des journées pédagogiques et des journées d'événements spéciaux, selon la programmation
Une disponibilité en été est un atout, la planification du programme débutant avant la rentrée scolaire

(August-June from 9:15am-5:15pm or 10am-6pm)

ECS is seeking a Coordinator to lead its Extended Day Programme (EDP). Position Overview
The Extended Day Program Coordinator plays an important role in our school community. This person is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of the school’s before and after-school programming, ensuring that students are safe, well supervised, and cared for throughout the extended day.
This is a hands-on role focused on student supervision, family communication, staff coordination, and the administrative management of the programme.
Responsibilities
Programme and Activity Coordination
Coordinate multiple extracurricular activities taking place simultaneously across rotating sessions
Oversee pedagogical day programming, offering engaging, age-appropriate activities for students
Manage the study period, including the ongoing assessment of its structure and effectiveness
Support the organization of school events as needed
Daily Supervision and Operations
Supervise extended day programming, including morning, lunch, and afternoon recess
Ensure the smooth dismissal of Junior School students
Supervise the lunch programme
Manage end-of-day pick-up, ensuring students are properly supervised and accounted for
Staff and Substitutes
Maintain and follow substitute contact protocols
Complete and submit staff timesheets accurately and on time
Support the onboarding of new Extended Day Programme staff, including orientation and training
Family Communication and Administration
Serve as the main point of contact for parents regarding any questions or matters related to the Extended Day Programme
Manage Extended Day Programme billing and track registrations
Order snacks and maintain appropriate inventory
Monitor and manage the Extended Day Programme budget
Qualifications and Experience
Experience working with school-aged children in a supervisory setting
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills, with a warm, clear, and professional approach to families and colleagues
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy, student-centred environment
Experience in programme coordination or school administration is an asset
First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain certification
Proficient in both English and French
Schedule and Availability
The Extended Day Programme Coordinator works Monday to Friday during the school year. Key schedule requirements include:
Full extended-day coverage, from the start of the school day to the end of the programme
End-of-day coverage support as needed
Availability on pedagogical days and special event days, depending on programming
Summer availability is an asset, as programme planning begins before the start of the school year
