English Test Results Copies of standardized English test results (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent), if available. IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6 in each section.
ECS considers international applications subject to space availability and the student’s academic profile. Families are encouraged to contact the Admissions office to discuss their daughter’s eligibility.
Yes. As ECS is an English-language school, applicants must demonstrate sufficient proficiency to access the curriculum. Standardized English test results (such as TOEFL or IELTS) may be requested as part of the application process.
The personal introduction video allows the Admissions Committee to get to know the student beyond academic records. It gives the student an opportunity to introduce herself, share her interests, and speak directly to the community she hopes to join.
While ECS does not manage immigration applications, the Admissions Office can provide guidance and confirm required school documentation. Families are responsible for completing all immigration and study permit processes.
Admissions decisions are made once all required materials have been received and reviewed. After the March 1st deadline we will contact you with a decision within 10 days of the application deadline.
Our Admissions Team is happy to assist you throughout the process. Please feel free to contact us at admissions@ecs.qc.ca.
Next Steps in the Admissions Process
Once a complete application has been submitted, families can expect the following steps:
Parent/Guardian Interview A conversation with members of the Admissions Team to learn more about the student and family, and to answer any questions about ECS.
Student Interview with the Pre-University Committee An interview designed to better understand the student’s interests, readiness, and fit for the programme.
Application Review Applications are reviewed holistically, taking into consideration the student’s academic records and performance during the student interview.
Families will be contacted by the Admissions Office with next steps following the completion of these stages.
