Application Process for ECS Pre-University


Now Accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year.

ECS operates on key admission periods throughout the year. We are currently accepting applications for March 1st. However, we strongly recommend initiating the application process as early as possible to secure your spot and facilitate a smooth enrollment experience.
 

Domestic Applicants

Step 1: Forms

  • Complete the Intake Form
    • We will then send you login information
  • Submit the Online Application Form

Step 2: Required Documentation

  • Birth Certificate
    A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, including the names of both parents. If the document is not in English or French, a notarized English or French translation is required.
  • Confidential School Report
    Completed by the applicant’s current school.
  • Academic Records (Grades 7–11)
    Copies of all report cards. Grades 10 & 11 academic results will be prioritized for admission decisions.
    Notarized English or French translations are required if applicable.
  • MEES Transcript
    A Quebec student Ministry transcript (if applicable)

Step 3: Personal Introduction Video

  • Applicants are asked to submit a short personal introduction video (90 seconds to 3 minutes), in which the student introduces herself and shares her aspirations, goals, and interests. This video allows us to get to know the student beyond the written application.

Step 4: Application Fee

  • $200 Application Fee
    A copy of the payment receipt must be submitted with the application. Payment can be made here.

Next Steps in the Admissions Process

Once a complete application has been submitted, families can expect the following steps:
  • Parent/Guardian Interview
    A conversation with members of the Admissions Team to learn more about the student and family, and to answer any questions about ECS.
  • Student Interview with the Pre-University Committee
    An interview designed to better understand the student’s interests, readiness, and fit for the programme.
  • Application Review
    Applications are reviewed holistically, taking into consideration the student’s academic records and performance during the student interview.
Families will be contacted by the Admissions Office with next steps following the completion of these stages.
 

International Applicants

    • English Test Results
      Copies of standardized English test results (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent), if available. IELTS minimum overall score of 6.5, with a minimum of 6 in each section.

    • $300 International Application Fee
      A copy of the payment receipt must be submitted with the application. Payment can be made here.
